All About Vinyl Siding
How much does it cost for new siding?
Similar to windows, new siding is determined by style, options, energy efficiency and other features. We offer a range of products, from higher premium products to budget-conscious siding. We offer siding for as low as $1.20/ square foot, installed.
You may want to consider Eliminator XL 29 Insulated Siding. It offers maximum energy efficiency and more.
Does the style of my home determine the type of siding I should get? What looks best?
Choice of siding profile and style is more of a personal preference than anything. Regardless of your choice, you will always want to choose an insulated panel for reasons such as energy savings, impact resistance, and noise reduction. Our experienced sale staff will help you choose a style that helps present your home in the style you want, from contemporary to traditional.
Will certain colors of siding make my home look bigger? What colors look more traditional?
Siding color is also a personal preference. Nearly 90% of the time, white is used as the trim and contrasting color, which will make the siding color pop and look larger in appearance. We do offer 17 beautiful architectural colors to create a unique style for your home.
All About Energy Efficient Windows
How much does it cost for new windows?
Pricing new windows is very similar to pricing a new car. The style, options, energy efficiency and other features determine the cost. We offer new windows installed for as low as $198. We have home products for every budget.
Can I get mid-range replacement windows for my house, but higher energy-efficient windows for the side where the wind comes from?
Yes, when choosing the Energy Plus vinyl windows, the Performa and Ultra series both look identical with different glass packages. Visually, there is no difference at all. When choosing the Energy Plus Energy Elite Series composite wood windows, the T2, T3 and T3 Plus all look the same as well with different glass packages.
What are some things to consider when choosing replacement windows?
There are several things to consider when choosing replacement windows: How long do you plan to stay in your home? Do you want to use the new windows as a selling factor? What are you looking to accomplish in replacing your windows - curb appeal, energy efficiency, EZZ clean features, eliminating the maintenance, or all of the above? Our advisors can help you determine the best option for you, based on your answers.
If I plan to sell my house in 5 years, shouldn't I get the cheapest windows?
Not necessarily. You can use the new windows as a positive selling feature because they come with a transferable, written warranty. In many cases, the least expensive windows do not deliver better energy efficiency than what you may currently have. Most people want the best value, and the best value is not necessarily the lowest price.
